Business as usual, but…

Ireland Blinds remains open to service our customers, with business as usual.

There are no confirmed cases of COVID-19 amongst our workforce and our policy is that any suspected or confirmed cases should strictly follow all recommended protocols, including quarantine away from the work place.

Our primary goal is to ensure the safety of our customers, staff and their families.

When calling or receiving a call from a customer to book an appointment for on-site attendance we will step through the following survey for the peace of mind of all involved. There is no prejudice intended and our only interest is mutual health and safety.

Before making an appointment, we need to ask some questions to ensure our mutual safety.

1) Have you travelled outside Australia within the last 4 weeks?

2) Have you been in contact with any person who has travelled internationally within the last 14 days?

3) Have you been in contact with any person who has a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19?

4) Do you or any other occupant at your address have any flu or cold like symptoms such as fever, cough, shortness of breath, or sore throat?

If there is a positive response to any of these questions, we are not able to proceed without further enquiry.

Finally, if both customer and Ireland Blinds are confident that safety can be assured we will continue with an appointment. If either party is hesitant, then it should not proceed without more in-depth understanding of circumstances and mutual consent on the basis of safety.

When we arrive we will knock and introduce ourselves, but will politely decline the offer of a hand shake. Also, we will not be able to accept the kind hospitality of beverages or food.

If either party becomes aware of changes to their status they are requested, and in good conscience obliged, to inform the other party.

As new requirements are mandated by government they will take precedence over these arrangements and will result in us re-contacting to confirm any change to the previous arrangement.

We wish for all of our community to safely navigate this time of uncertainty and thank you for your continued support.
